AS A CONSULTING
CENTER: Since 1983, The Sensory
Analysis Center has provided confidential, effective solutions for more than 100 domestic
and international companies. We have experience
evaluating: foods, beverages, cosmetics, fabrics, packaging, paints, health care products,
and fragrances using consumer testing and/or descriptive sensory analysis. Our highly trained descriptive panelists average more

AS A RESEARCH FACILITY:
As a part of Kansas State University, one of the
functions of The Sensory Analysis Center is academic research. As a research center we conduct investigations to
further the scientific understanding in the field of sensory analysis and related
sciences. While the primary focus of our research
is in sensory analysis, we also conduct research in: food science, marketing, and
psychology.

AS AN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION: The
Sensory Analysis Center at Kansas State University provides an unparalleled educational
opportunity for individuals interested in obtaining a Masters or Doctorate in Sensory
Analysis. While completing your degree you will:
take
classes in: sensory analysis, consumer behavior, descriptive sensory analysis, statistics,
marketing, and psychology
assist
or teach classes in sensory analysis, food science, and/or nutrition
work
on both consumer and descriptive sensory projects for some of the largest international
companies
be
eligible to obtain a 3 month to 1 year experience as an intern with a leading company
Previous
students have had internships at companies such as: Coors,
S.C. Johnson, Nestle, M&M Mars, Unilever, Nabisco, Avon, and PepsiCo.
